The new subsidiary, based in Sassuolo, is to be called Emac Italia SRL and will be operational as of October 2011 in order to establish our presence in Italy.

Emac Italia SRL is to be located at the heart of the Italian ceramics industry, in the Sassuolo industrial estate. Our new subsidiary will begin work with a heavy commitment to the most notable trade fairs in the country, with stands at the following events:

• Cersaie, the International Ceramics Exhibition (Bologna, 20-24 September). Hall 44, stand 40.
• Saie, International Building Exhibition.(Bologna, 5-8 October). Hall 25, stand A303.

By launching Emac Italia SRL, we are taking another step in our international expansion plans. This follows on the heels of the success of Emac América LLC, our subsidiary in Miami (USA), since 2003. Today, Emac profiles are found in 110 countries around the world.

Last 30^th of June, Emac® was awarded first prize in the “Small Company” category of the National ALARES Awards for the Conciliation of Professional, Family and Personal Life. The Award was granted at the Madrid Auditorium Caixa Forum from hands of D. Ramón Jaúregui, Minister of the Presidency.

This prestigious Award, which has counted with the Honor Presidency of the Spanish Queen S. M. Dña. Sofía, is a recognition to the efforts that the company makes to conciliate the labor and personal life of its workers, with the purpose of improving its quality of life, both on a particular as on a professional way. It also recognizes the Company Policy on Social Responsibility.

The awards ceremony was led by the RTVE journalist Beatriz Ariño, and between the other awarded Companies, there were also important names like Nokia Spain, Antena 3 News and Wolters Kluwer Spain, or, at particular level, journalists of recognized prestige like Marta Robles.
